MELBOURNE ― Ginny Whitley is the new Major Gifts Officer for Brevard Rescue Mission. Ms. Whitley will be responsible for maintaining donor engagement as the nonprofit embarks on a significant expansion effort providing additional homes for the homeless women with children they serve.

Ms. Whitley has served on the Brevard Rescue Mission Board of Directors since 2015 and has been a dedicated volunteer since 2010.

“We are very excited to welcome Ginny to our development team," said Stacia Glavas, founder/CEO of Brevard Rescue Mission. "Not only will she allow a better focus on donor relationships, but she also brings a wealth of experience from serving both as a volunteer and on our leadership team."

Ms. Whitley graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, specializing in finance. She has been married for 29 years to Dr. David Whitley and they are parents to four adult children.

Brevard Rescue Mission is a nonprofit organization that provides transitional supportive housing to homeless women with children; helping them move from dependency to self-sufficiency. They are privately funded by donations from individuals, community foundations, churches and area businesses.
