Brevard Home and Patio Expo

Brevard Home and Patio will feature local vendors who can help homeowners with their needs from DIY projects to professional services.

BREVARD COUNTY — When it comes to home improvements, having the right information and supplies can make a project feel less overwhelming.

For all of those homeowners who are looking to remodel, change out older furnishings and appliances, discuss real estate and financing, or just want to make their garden look pretty, the Brevard Home and Patio Expo will be a one-stop shop for all your needs.

This free, two-day event is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, at the Melbourne Auditorium, 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd.

“It’s definitely the largest in Brevard in terms of home events, and we have a greater variety of vendors,” said Jenna Smith, co-owner of Brevard Expos. “Attendees can see some of their work, speak one-on-one with vendors and get a better feel for their business, instead of just blindly calling somebody after Googling their name.”

Home Depot will offer a free workshop for children of all ages on both expo days, which includes a workshop kit, apron and certification of completion.

Some vendors will have giveaways, shopping sprees and representatives available to answer any questions an attendee may have.

Mrs. Smith said she expects to see up to 75 vendors, some of which will be located outside of the auditorium, such as lawn care and equipment vendors.

“We’re going to have anything from bath, cabinetry, solar energy, countertops, A/C businesses, roofing, siding and exterior, and more,” Mrs. Smith said. “Our title sponsors are Sleepy Heads Furniture, and they always bring a really big display of furniture and décor, and our other title sponsor is BSS Exterior, and they do everything from hurricane proofing to shutters and windows.”

Whether homeowners are looking for something simple or have a big task at home, they are likely to find it at this Home and Patio Expo.
