Youth Nature Hike: Join us on a youth nature hike through Turkey Creek Sanctuary, located at 1518 Port Malabar Blvd NE in Palm Bay on Saturday, May 21 from 9-10:30 a.m. As part of Get Kids to Parks Day, this hike will introduce kids to plants, animals and beautiful trails right in your backyard. participants are asked to dress accordingly and be prepared for a hike of light to moderate intensity. Studios of Cocoa Beach Fundraiser: The Studios of Cocoa Beach is celebrating its fifth year as the creative hub on the beaches. Since 2017, this non-profit, artist- staffed gallery has worked to inspire, educate and enrich the community through art. Return of The Warriors: The number one boxing program in Florida, Palm Bay ROUND13 Boxing is once again bringing live boxing to the City of Palm Bay. Palm Bay ROUND13 Boxing club to host 2022 Champions In The Making Return Of The Warriors. The Community Center will be transformed into a spectacular sports arena with up to 1000 seats capacity two hundred ringside seating and eight hundred bleacher seating. The event will include food, drinks, music and lights to immerse fans in the buzzing boxing atmosphere.

Doors open at 230 p.m. The first bell is at 3:30 p.m. The event, billed as RETURN OF THE WARRIORS, marks the return of the successful boxing series to Brevard County. Boxing fans will get the once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and watch the future world champions in the making.

Wild Bingo Party: T o celebrate National Bingo Day, the 55+ Club of Satellite Beach is going to throw a Bingo Party with all the fun you can handle. The Bingo Celebration will be on Monday, June 27 at the Satellite Beach Civic Center, located at 565 Cassia Boulevard in Satellite Beach. Folks who have never played with the Club during their weekly Monday game are invited to attend and the entry fee will be waived and you will get two free $1 Bingo cards. Other $1, $6, $9 cards can be purchased (cash only please) at the door.

New players are asked to RSVP to 321-773-6458 as seating is limited and we expect a huge turnout. In addition to the Bingo Games, there will be a Pot Luck (even new players are asked to bring a dish to share), 50/50, special celebration games with prizes, and Bingo Trivia. Scavenger Hunt: Sams House at Pine Island Conservation Area hosts a nature scavenger hunt every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come join the fun at the historic 1888 Sams House. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the grounds in this family friendly nature hunt. Sams House is located at 6195 N Tropical Trail on Merritt Island.

Sams House at Pine Island Conservation Area was created and is managed under Brevard County’s Environmentally Endangered Lands Program referendum.

Lawndale - a Blue Star Museum: Lawndale is an 1880 pioneer homestead in Rockledge that is now open for tours. It has now been registered as a Blue Star Museum. That means that active duty military and their families will have free admission through Sept. .

Lawndale sits on a 2 acre site with 183 feet of river frontage along scenic Rockledge Drive. Docents in period dress guide visitors through the old homestead which has been restored and furnished as a family home of 1895. The beautiful riverfront location of Lawndale at 1219 Rockledge Drive is in the middle of three National Register Historic Districts.

Lawndale is open for tours the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A donation of $10 per person is suggested. Lawndale is located at 1219 Rockledge Drive in Rockledge.
