BREVARD COUNTY ― Parrish Healthcare, in partnership with the Brevard County Health Department, offers North Brevard COVID-19 mobile test collection sites. Testing is done by appointment only. Pre-registration is required to schedule an appointment. For fast and easy pre-registration, visit parrishhealthcare.com/COVID19registration.

Once pre-registered, you will receive a call from a scheduler and given an appointment time to arrive at the designated mobile testing site. There is no out-of-pocket cost for the test.

Parrish Healthcare providers will administer the FDA approved RT-PCR test. Once the results have been received, a Parrish Healthcare provider will review the results with each patient and provide next steps. Please be advised that the state laboratories (e.g. Quest and Lab Corps) are experiencing high volumes. Result turnaround times vary. The following COVID testing priority guidelines have been published by Quest and other Florida Department of Health partner laboratories:

· Priority 1 Testing: hospitalized patients, health care facility workers with symptoms; and pre-surgical patients in acute care settings.

· Priority 2 Testing: patients in congregate (long-term care and correctional) facilities with symptoms; patients over age 65 years with symptoms; patients with underlying conditions with symptoms; and first responders with symptoms.

· Priority 3 Testing: critical infrastructure workers with symptoms; individuals with symptoms who do not meet any of the above categories; health care facility workers and first responders; and individuals with mild symptoms in hot zone communities.

Additionally, Parrish Healthcare was the first in the area to offer an online, non-diagnostic quiz that assesses current risk factors for COVID-19. Based on your answers to the quiz, you may qualify for a free consultation with a care navigator and you will be provided with information via email on next steps. To take the quiz, visit Parrishhealthcare.com/COVIDRISK. Additional information is available at parrishhealthcare.com/coronavirus.
