MELBOURNE - The Neha and Sanjay Rishi Charitable Foundation has established an endowed scholarship at the Florida Institute of Technology.

The scholarship will be be awarded annually to an African American student in need of financial aid.

“Neha and I are honored to establish this scholarship. It is essential for us as a society to make sure that opportunity exists for everyone,” said Sanjay Rishi. “I was fortunate to attend Florida Tech, and the education I received has been integral in my development as a leader."

Sanjay Rishi, Ph.D., graduated from Florida Tech in 1985 with a master’s degree in systems management. He is currently CEO, Corporate Solutions – Americas for the real estate services company JLL.

He joined JLL in 2018 from IBM, where he ran the Cloud Consulting Services business. Prior to that, he was chief information officer and group vice president of strategic planning for Johnson Controls Automotive. He has also held roles as a partner for PwC and vice president for IBM Global Strategy.

Sanjay Rishi joined the advisory board of the Bisk College of Business at Florida Tech in 2020.

"I hope that this scholarship will help deserving students who may not have the same opportunity I had. Neha and I are excited to continue to support Florida Tech.”
